Yes—choose a weatherproof model (IP66/IP67) and, if needed, a heated version. For indoor use, simpler versions are sufficient.

Do dome cameras have night vision?
Most dome cameras have IR illumination or color night vision. The best choice depends on ambient lighting and the level of detail required.

Is the 360° image distorted?
The raw image can have a fisheye effect, but software can de-warp the view and allow you to inspect zones separately.

Is a fisheye camera good for monitoring an entrance?
Yes—if the entrance is directly below the camera and you need an overall view. For detailed face identification, a dedicated directed camera can be better.
PTZ camera — optical zoom and remote control for CCTV

PTZ cameras

PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras let you remotely control the camera, pan/tilt and zoom into details. They’re a great choice for large sites and active monitoring.

PTZ cameras often support auto-patrol, presets and smart tracking.

Yes—choose strong IR illumination or appropriate lighting. For large areas, we recommend planning lighting and cameras together.
LPR/ANPR camera — parking and access control

License plate recognition cameras (LPR/ANPR)

LPR/ANPR cameras are specialized cameras that read vehicle license plates even in challenging lighting and weather conditions.

They are used in parking lots, at barrier gates and to automate site entrances (logging, allow-lists).

Why doesn’t a regular camera always read plates correctly?
Plate reading requires the right shutter speed, optics and often IR illumination. LPR cameras are optimized for this task.

Does plate recognition work at higher speeds?
Yes, but it depends on the model and installation (angle, distance, lighting). We design the solution for your specific case.

Panoramic cameras provide an ultra-wide view and help reduce blind spots on outdoor sites and open areas.

Bullet cameras

Bullet cameras are a classic, popular choice for outdoor use. Their visible design also works as a deterrent.

They work well for yards, facades, gates and locations where longer viewing distance is needed.

Often IR night vision is enough, but for better color images, outdoor lighting can help.
